WHO WE ARE

God's Helping Hands is a non-profit Christian-based ministry located in Eufaula, Oklahoma, a small lake community in South Eastern Oklahoma.  Our organization brings together many volunteers from all over our community who dedicate themselves to serving the individuals and families in the Lake Eufaula community.  Our primary mission is to support the spiritual, physical, social, educational and emotional needs of those who come to us for help.

God's Helping Hands has been serving our community in this capacity for more than 20 years.  Our organization is cross-denominational, connecting with and supported by a diverse group of local congregations.

God's Helping Hands is led by an Executive Committee of volunteers from the local community who provide general oversight and direction for the ministry.  Our Director is an experienced Chaplain and Ordained Minister with 30+ years of missionary experience, and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations.  Our volunteers, who number more than 60 are the critical component that help all of our programs be successful.

God's Helping Hands provides support and outreach through a variety of services. We operate an Emergency Food Pantry, providing free food; a Clothes Closet, providing free gently-used clothing.  Our compassion services include utility bill assistance, emergency prescriptions, Christian counseling and Biblical education materials (including tracts and bibles).

Gods Helping Hands is pleased to partner with a dedicated local group of Churches who administer a Saturday soup kitchen called Friendship Kitchen.  This great program feeds a free hot meal every Saturday.

Each year God's Helpings Hands coordinates several special programs, including our Back to School, Coat, and Christmas Box giveaways.

God's Helping hands also believes in the power of outreach and cooperation.  To that end, we have connected with a variety of organizations, ministries, and local government officials to support programs consistent with our mission.
